Brief
To create a free flowing home where all spaces are cohesive with each room welcoming the next.
Outcome
By combining a soothing and neutral base to the permanent fixtures and fittings in this home, we have allowed for the owners collections of art and sculptural pieces to be displayed and tell the stories of their travels, this was an important part of the overall design.
Carrying a textural warmth though from the old to the new was integral to enhancing a cohesion between the spaces, we have done so with both the new oak flooring adding a firm foundation underfoot, and the use of walnut and oak timber joinery within the kitchen and bathrooms, with each room featuring flowing linen sheers and layered textured upholstery.
