Milan Terrace Residence
Brief
Our clients brief was to work with a modern country aesthetic to create a new home, working alongside the client, architect and builder.
Outcome
Natural elements and textures were a priority in this project and reflecting on the classical elements of a country style build were also given much thought. Luxurious finishes both on hard and soft surfaces, including wool carpet, natural stones, terrazzo and lush linens, created an elegance in a functional and timeless environment. Cabinetry throughout was also considered transitioning from a shaker style in the kitchen, to v- groove in the less formal areas. A concrete hearth and bench was custom built to house the Chimney Phillipe Fireplace along with concrete style tiles to surround the veranda’s of the home creating a contrast to the Monument painted exterior.
