THE GREEK
Brief
To update a traditional family run restaurant without taking away the history and feel of the space.
Outcome
To solve this we introduced a neutral colour palate rather than running with the traditional blue and white Greek style. Adding in elements of both the families treasures along with iconic Greek pieces connected the space to its clientele.
Considered lighting mixed with creating individual spaces throughout was also an important consideration as the experience of eating in the restaurant was also a very important aspect of the overall design. One of the hopeful outcomes being that a diner would begin to make bookings stating the room they wished to dine in depending on the theme or mood of the occasion. This became the highlight of the renovation and fit out as each space became a personality in itself.
