What is Home?
To us, your home should be filled with everything you love and convey your personality to those that are fortunate enough to share it with you. It should evolve over time, as your home becomes a showcase of meaningful keepsakes treasured for generations to come. Home should be a place where you feel most comfortable, where you can be your complete self and a place that you can share with your nearest and dearest.
Some homes offer the feeling of welcome instantly and this can take some time to create, however the rewards after all the time and patience creating your space are well worth the effort.
How does one create this space we call a welcoming home? Firstly, start by making sure the space is authentic. That it is a true representation of yourself, that it is filled with items and furniture that represent your identity. The trick to this is to not follow trends but to trust your instinct, to know that the treasures you collect along the way and the items that you love are indeed right for you, your family and your home.
If we surround ourselves with the things and possessions we love, we feel happy, we feel inspired, we feel comfortable, we feel loved and this is the perfect formula to make a home, your home, a wonderful habitat.
